Our breast pumps

15 pumps, covered by your insurance

One pump per delivery, based on your policy. Our intake team sizes every mom and matches the model to her plan.

Specifications per manufacturer. Suction figures are pump strength; "hospital-strength" refers to suction, not an FDA multi-user designation. Brand names are trademarks of their respective owners.

Maternity & postpartum support

Six support styles, also covered

One support per pregnancy, based on medical necessity. Sizes and styles are dispensed per prescription, medical necessity and plan coverage.

Accepted insurance plans

193 plans, verified for every mom before dispensing

All commercial insurance plans accepted, plus Medi-Cal managed care, HMO and PPO. Benefits are verified before anything is dispensed and you're told your exact responsibility in advance.

193 plans

This list reflects plans we are able to bill. Benefits, coverage and patient responsibility vary by individual plan and are verified for every patient before any item is dispensed. Not an exhaustive list. If you don't see your plan here, call us and we will check it for you.

For doctors & clinics · A specialized program for the expecting mother

Built so your office does less, not more.

Pregnancy isn't easy, and neither is chasing paperwork. GHMS works alongside your medical team as the patient's advocate. We take the order from prescription to doorstep and keep your staff out of the middle of it.

We do the follow-up

Our team calls your office on a set schedule until the signed order and chart notes are back. Your staff is never the one having to remember.

One form, one fax

No portals, no logins, no accounts to create or maintain. The GHMS Maternity Prescription Form is the entire process.

Authorization handled

We verify eligibility, confirm benefits and file the prior authorization, then tell the patient her exact cost before anything ships.

Your patient stays informed

She hears from us at every stage (verification, approval, shipping), so she isn't calling your front desk to ask where her pump is.

Free expedited delivery

Shipped to the patient's home at no charge, typically within 24–48 hours of authorization. No pickup counter, no waiting room.

Bilingual patient support

English and Spanish-speaking staff on every call, so your patient is never the one translating her own benefits.

Your office sends one fax

Complete the GHMS Maternity Prescription Form: check the items, add the ICD-10 diagnosis, sign and date. Attach the most recent chart notes supporting medical necessity (the payer requires them, not us) and fax both to 888-611-0666.

What we need from your office

  • Signed, dated prescription with the diagnosis
  • Most recent face-to-face / chart notes
  • Patient demographics, if available
  • Insurance information, if available

That is the complete list. If anything else is required by the payer, we identify it, request it precisely, and follow up until we have it.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is the breast pump really free?

For most insured moms, yes. The Affordable Care Act requires most health plans to cover breastfeeding equipment. We verify your benefits first and tell you your exact cost, if any, before anything ships.

Which insurance do you accept?

All commercial insurance plans, plus Medi-Cal managed care, HMO and PPO. That's 193 plans, including Anthem Blue Cross, Blue Shield of California, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Health Net, L.A. Care, Molina, TRICARE and more. Search the full list above, or call us to check yours.

Do I need a prescription?

Yes, your insurance requires one. You don't have to get it yourself. Give us your doctor's name and we'll request the signed prescription and chart notes from their office. If you prefer, print the Rx form and take it to your next appointment.

How fast will I get my pump?

Authorization typically takes 1–3 business days. Once approved, your pump ships free to your home, typically within 24–48 hours.

Can I choose my pump?

Yes. You choose from the pumps your plan actually covers, with no upsell surprises at delivery. Our intake team helps with flange sizing, the leading cause of pain and low output, before the pump ships.

Do I get replacement parts and milk bags?

Yes. Every pump prescription also covers monthly replacement kits and up to 300 milk storage bags, based on your need and coverage. They ship automatically, so you never reorder.

¿Hablan español?
